Job Description:
As a Tester Apprentice (Intern) at Birlasoft, you will work closely with the IT Service Delivery team to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality IT services. This role provides excellent exposure to test management and service delivery processes. You will assist in various tasks, including test case development, test automation, defect tracking, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: BE/B.Tech (CS/IS/IT/ECE/ETC/EE/Circuit Branches) with programming knowledge.
- Year of Graduation: 2024/2025
- Minimum Marks: 60% overall in education
- Skills: Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications, with strong problem-solving abilities.
Other Requirements:
- No standing backlogs.
- Must be flexible with location and ready to work in any shift, technology, or role.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C# scripting.
- Experience using SQL queries to extract and analyze application data.
- Understanding of STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) and different types of testing.
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks like Selenium, UFT, or similar tools.
- Understanding of Agile Methodology (Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, etc.).
- ISTQB Certification or any equivalent testing certification will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing test cases based on project requirements.

- Identify, report, and track defects during the testing cycle.
