Role in a Nutshell
As a Full Stack Developer at BrowserStack, you’ll be part of a cross-functional team accountable for the complete software development life cycle. This includes everything from conception to deployment. You’ll work on both front-end and back-end technologies to build scalable and impactful web applications. Key Responsibilities
- Research and adapt new technologies to meet BrowserStack’s requirements.
- Partner with external stakeholders and project teams to gather both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end code across the full application stack.
- Collaborate with teams to build high-performance web applications with excellent user experiences.
- Understand and leverage open source code where appropriate.
Desired Experience
To be considered for this exciting role, you should have:
- B.Tech or M.Tech (or equivalent) with 1-3 years of experience.
- Experience in at least one back-end language (Ruby on Rails is a plus) and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery and at least one JS framework (Angular, React, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in Ruby, Node.js, Python, JavaScript or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a strong sense of UX.
- Experience with Git for version control.
- A problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with global business and technical teams.
Nice to Have:
- Experience as a UI Developer.
- Background in startups is a huge plus!
